Comprehensive Consultation
Dr. Eickhoff requires all of your health information so that he fully understands your problem and concerns.

Surface Scanning EMG
This computerized test will show if there is a problem with your spinal nerves. If there is a problem with these nerves, pain, stiffness, muscle spasms, numbness, pins and needles, sciatica, headaches, carpal tunnel syndrome, fibromyalgia like symptoms, fatigue and other problems can result. This test and the Spinal Thermography are totally safe and non-invasive.

Spinal Thermography
Spinal Thermography is a computerized test that reads the temperature of the skin on your back. This tells us how well your autonomic nerves are working. The autonomic nerves control your organs, glands and circulation. Your overall health and resistance to disease depend on this part of the nervous system.

Examination
Any needed examination procedures will be provided to get a clear picture of all aspects of your problem and other factors that may be affecting your health. This includes services provided in Dr. Eickhoff’s office only. Laboratory tests, x-rays and other imaging procedures etc. are not included. X-rays are not usually needed at Eickhoff Chiropractic in order to do a proper evaluation.

Report of Findings
All findings will be explained to you. A copy of your SEMG and thermography print out will be given to you for your records. Dr. Eickhoff will tell you if Chiropractic can help you and explain about Chiropractic treatment.

A note about the type of Treatment Dr. Eickhoff specializes in.
The name of the approach used is called Activator Methods. A small hand-held instrument is used to align the bone and take the pressure off of the nerves. (see subluxation section) The instrument is spring-loaded and provides a low force, controlled tap to move the bone. It is very gentle, there is no cracking or forceful maneuvers of any part of the body. Please refer to the Activator section for further information.
